Nutrison Concentrated Pack - 12 x 500ml

Nutrison Concentrated is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutrison Concentrated is a 2kcal/ml energy dense tube feed for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition in patients who require fluid restriction. Nutrison Concentrated is nutritionally complete in 1500 kcal. Suitable as a sole source of nutrition; Available in 500ml OpTri bottles.

 

Contra-Indications

Not suitable for infants. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.

Precautions

Use with caution in children aged 1-6 years. Coagulation in the digestive tract, e.g. due to drug interaction, may occur. Careful monitoring is required.

Preparation and directions for usage

Shake well before opening. Use at room temperature. Maximum hanging time: 24 hours. OpTri bottles can be attached directly to a Flocare giving set.

Ingredients

Water, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (sunflower oil, rapeseed oil, MCT oil (coconut oil, palm kernel oil)), whey protein (from cow's milk), cow's milk protein caseinate, pea protein, soy protein, potassium citrate, fish oil, emulsifier (soy lecithin), potassium hydroxide, calcium carbonate, magnesium chloride, sodium citrate, carotenoids ((contains soy) (beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene oleoresin from tomatoes), choline chloride, acidity regulator (citric acid), magnesium hydrogen phosphate, sodium L-ascorbate, magnesium hydroxide, ferrous lactate, potassium chloride, zinc sulphate, nicotinamide, retinyl acetate, DL-a tocopheryl acetate, copper gluconate, sodium selenite, manganese sulphate, cholecalciferol, calcium D-pantothenate, D-biotin, chromium chloride, thiamin hydrochloride, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, pyridoxine hydrochloride, riboflavin, sodium molybdate, sodium fluoride, potassium iodide, phytomenadione, cyanocobalamin. Shelf life

12 months. Best before date: see top of OpTri bottle.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, close the OpTri bottle and store in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours. Discard any unused contents after 24 hours.
