Nutrison Pack Soya Multi Fibre - 8 x 1000ml

Nutrison Soya Multi Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Nutrison Soya Multi Fibre is a 1kcal/ml soy based tube feed with fibre for patients who are intolerant to cow's milk protein for the dietary management of disease related malnutrition. Nutrison Soya Multi Fibre is nutritionally complete in 1500kcal. Suitable as a sole source of nutrition.

Indications

For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: short bowel syndrome; intractable malabsorption; pre-operative preparation of undernourished patients; inflammatory bowel disease; total gastrectomy; dysphagia; bowel fistulae; disease related malnutrition; Cows' milk protein and lactose intolerance.

Contra-Indications

Not suitable for infants. Not suitable for patients requiring a fibre free diet.

Precautions

Use with caution in children aged 1-6 years. Careful monitoring is required.

Preparation and directions for usage

Shake well before opening. Use at room temperature. Maximum hanging time: 24 hours. Packs can be attached directly to a Flocare giving set.

Ingredients

Water, maltodextrin, soy protein, vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), dietary fibres (soy polysaccharides, resistant starch, inulin, arabic gum, cellulose, oligofructose), potassium citrate, emulsifier (soy lecithin), sodium citrate, acidity regulator (citric acid), magnesium carbonate, tri calcium phosphate, di potassium hydrogen phosphate, choline chloride, carotenoids (contains soy) (beta-carotene, lutein, lycopene oleoresin from tomatoes), sodium chloride, potassium chloride, calcium hydroxide, sodium L-ascorbate, potassium hydroxide, ferrous lactate, zinc sulphate, nicotinamide, retinyl acetate, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, manganese sulphate, copper gluconate, calcium D-pantothenate, chromium chloride, D-biotin, cholecalciferol, pteroylmonoglutamic acid, thiamin hydrochloride, pyridoxine hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin, riboflavin, sodium selenite, sodium fluoride, potassium iodide, sodium molybdate, phytomenadione. Allergy Advice: For allergens, see ingredients in bold.

Shelf life

12 months. Best before date: see top of Pack.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C) and away from direct sunlight. Once opened, aseptically handled Packs can be kept for a maximum of 24 hours.
