Ovelle Hydrocortisone 1% w/w Cream - 15g

The Ovelle Hydrocortisone Cream is an effective treatment for relieving itchy skin types such as eczema or dermatitis etc. Hydrocortisone can be used on the skin once or twice a day. It is not recommended for continuous use for more than 7 days unless prescribed by your G.P.

• Relieves redness and itching
• Can be used on dermatitis, eczema and insect bites
• Steroid cream containing hydrocortisone

Hydrocortisone Cream 1% alleviates itching and irritation for up to 12 hours and promotes the healing of :

• insect bites
• mild to moderate eczema
• detergent hands
• nickel allergies
• plant allergies
• makeup allergies
• strong detergent chemical reactions
• dermatitis
• eczema
• poison ivy
• poison oak

How to use:

Hydrocortisone cream is usually applied once or twice a day for treating skin problems. Always apply sparingly. It may be prescribed for treating other conditions or uses. For more information, contact your local pharmacist

 

Warnings

Caution before using Hydrocortisone Cream 1%:

• Do not use on eyes or face, anal or genital areas, or on broken or infected skin; e.g. impetigo, cold sores, acne or athletes foot.
• Do not use in pregnancy or on children under 12 without medical advice.
• If the condition does not improve, or anything unusual happens, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Side Effects

Hydrocortisone cream is usually well tolerated with few side effects. If symptoms develop, discontinue treatment and ask your local pharmacist/doctor for advice.
